Properties & Usage: POLYTONEâ„¢ AP 108 is a heat reactive alkyl phenolic resin formulated for use in the manufacture of contact adhesives / cements based on polychloroprene or other elastomers. Adhesives made from POLYTONEâ„¢ AP 108 have excellent heat resistance and light colour. Use of POLYTONEâ„¢ AP 108 imparts excellent green tack and cohesive strength in rubber based adhesives. POLYTONEâ„¢ AP 108 is useful for increasing the storage stability, heat resistance and non phasing of the adhesive.
